The suspect, identified as Pavel T., is accused of conducting surveillance on critical infrastructure and sites of strategic importance to Poland's defence and the NATO alliance.
He is alleged to have operated across Poland, Germany and Lithuania on behalf of Belarusian military intelligence between June 2024 and February 2026.
Following questioning at a specialist prosecutor's office in Warsaw dealing with organised crime and corruption, a court remanded him in custody for three months.
The offence carries a minimum prison sentence of five years.
His arrest was the result of cooperation between Polish, German and Lithuanian intelligence services.
