Friday's brief session lasted only about five minutes.
The judge said the September hearing, when the case will actually be considered in full, is expected to take four days.
Kuczmierowski was arrested in London in early September 2024 at the request of Polish authorities, under a post-Brexit agreement between the EU and UK.
Polish prosecutors confirmed later that month that he and another man, Paweł S., had been charged over alleged involvement in organised crime, neglect of duty and abuse of power for financial gain.
He had been held in custody in Wandsworth prison, south-west London, after judges turned down bail three times.
In February 2025, the court finally agreed to his release on conditions, including regular police check-ins and a cash deposit.
A spokesperson for Westminster Magistrates' Court told PAP on Friday that the terms of Kuczmierowski's release have been amended to allow him to travel to Newcastle, in north-east England, though no explanation was given for the change.
His lawyers had also sought a so-called "safe conduct letter" that would have protected him from arrest in Poland until his case concluded.
Warsaw's regional court rejected that request in September 2025, the third such attempt, after prosecutors objected each time.
Polish investigators are looking into the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS) Kuczmierowski used to run.
They are examining whether it sidestepped normal public procurement rules, allegedly favouring certain companies and overpaying for supplies such as generators and face masks bought during the Covid-19 pandemic.
