Meteorologists warn that temperatures could climb above 35°C in some regions, creating hazardous conditions for vulnerable groups, including the elderly, children, and those with pre-existing health conditions. At the same time, unstable atmospheric conditions are expected to trigger severe storms capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, and intense rainfall.

The alerts cover multiple parts of the country, with authorities urging residents to closely monitor weather forecasts and emergency notifications. Officials have advised people to limit outdoor activity during the hottest hours of the day, stay hydrated, and seek shelter when thunderstorms develop.

Experts say the combination of high temperatures and incoming weather fronts creates ideal conditions for powerful summer storms. Similar weather patterns have caused significant disruptions in Poland in recent years, including fallen trees, damaged buildings, localized flooding, and transportation delays.

Emergency services remain on standby as forecasters track the evolving situation. Residents are encouraged to secure loose outdoor objects, avoid parking vehicles under trees, and remain indoors during severe weather warnings.

The warning comes amid broader concerns about increasingly frequent periods of extreme heat and severe weather across Europe.
