"Our shared determination in the fight against the scourge of terrorism remains unchanged", the ministry said in a post on X.
The attacks killed thousands of people of many nationalities, including Poles, the ministry noted.
It also paid tribute to Polish troops who fought alongside American forces in the years after 2001. "We stand in solidarity with the United States and pay tribute to those who died on September 11, to the rescuers, and to those who gave their lives so that we could be safe", the statement read.
Nineteen al-Qaida hijackers seized four airliners on September 11, 2001. Two hit the World Trade Center in New York, one struck the Pentagon, and a fourth crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers fought back.
Nearly 3,000 people died in the attacks, the deadliest on US soil.
NATO responded by invoking Article 5 for the first time in its history. US-led forces toppled the Taliban within months, though the group later waged a two-decade insurgency against the Western-backed Afghan government.
