According to a poll published on Sunday by the Wirtualna Polska news website, 30.7 percent of respondents rated the prime minister’s performance as “definitely negative”, while 23.6 percent said it was “rather negative”.
Altogether, 54.3 percent of those surveyed expressed a negative view of Donald Tusk.
By contrast, 37.4 percent gave the prime minister a positive rating. Of these, 12.2 percent described his performance as “definitely positive”, while 25.2 percent rated it “rather positive”.
A further 8.3 percent were undecided.
Broken down by political preference, 85 percent of those supporting the governing camp gave the prime minister a positive rating, including 40 percent who rated his performance as “definitely positive”. 8 percent chose “rather negative”, while 7 percent of respondents in this group were undecided.
The picture was markedly different with the supporters of the opposition, representing parties ranging from the left to the far right. As many as 80 percent of voters in this group rated Tusk negatively, with 52 percent describing his performance as “definitely negative” and 28 percent as “rather negative”, Wirtualna Polska reported.
Only 12 percent of opposition voters gave Tusk a “rather positive” rating, while 8 percent had no opinion.
The poll was conducted by United Surveys by IBRiS for Wirtualna Polska on September 4–6, 2026, using a mixed-mode methodology combining online and telephone computer-assisted interviews (CAWI/CATI) on a nationwide representative sample of 1,000 Polish adults.
