He also said he had told EU leaders in Brussels that Warsaw would be "ruthless" on security.
Tusk set out his government’s position in a post on social media, including on X, listing what he described as Poland’s tough approach to migration.
“We are firmly defending the border against illegal migration; we have our own asylum policy (we do not accept applications); we deport those who break Polish law,” he wrote.
"On security, we will be ruthless," he said. "That is what European leaders heard from me in Brussels."
The post followed his return on Friday from an EU summit in the Belgian capital.
During the visit, Tusk met leaders of the Visegrad Group and held talks on the sidelines with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
On Friday, at the invitation of the leaders of Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands, he took part in an informal meeting on migration before joining the European Council’s working session.
