The aim of the exercises was to coordinate command, reconnaissance and strike capabilities.
Gladius supports reconnaissance and strikes deep within the division commander's area of responsibility, complementing conventional artillery and rockets.
Reconnaissance drones identify targets, while strike drones can engage targets at a distance of up to 100 km and carry a 5 kg shaped-charge or high-explosive fragmentation warhead.
The system includes several types of vehicles equipped with communications and command systems integrated with artillery, as well as reconnaissance and strike drones.
Konrad Wojciechowski of Poland's WB Group said the system was designed and built entirely by Polish engineers in cooperation with the artillery.
Four batteries, comprising dozens of vehicles and hundreds of reconnaissance and strike drones, have already been delivered to the Polish military.
Contracts for another 12 batteries were signed in May. The WB Group representative said the system had also attracted interest from customers in Europe and overseas.
