A LOT Polish Airlines flight from Warsaw to Brussels landed safely at Zaventem Airport after authorities received a suspicious report concerning the aircraft.

LOT spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski said a subsequent inspection found no dangerous or suspicious objects.

A Wizz Air flight from Milan's Malpensa Airport to Warsaw was diverted to Vienna, where bomb disposal specialists searched the aircraft but found no explosives. The airline said the diversion followed standard safety procedures.

At Warsaw's Chopin Airport, authorities also investigated a warning about a potentially dangerous object aboard a LOT flight to Paris. No threat was found, and airport operations returned to normal.

Elsewhere in Europe, an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome was diverted to the Évreux military air base in northern France. The Airbus A320 was carrying 151 passengers and six crew members. French authorities deployed security personnel to inspect the aircraft.

A Finnair flight from Helsinki to Rome landed at Fiumicino Airport under escort by Italian fighter jets following another bomb threat. A second flight from Helsinki, bound for Vienna, also received a warning but landed as scheduled.

In Bulgaria, three Ryanair flights were affected. Two aircraft from Copenhagen and Madrid landed in Sofia, while a flight from London was diverted to Plovdiv. Inspections found no explosives.

Czech police investigated threats against four flights arriving in Prague. Searches found nothing suspicious.

A Wizz Air flight from Milan to Bucharest, carrying 182 passengers and seven crew members, landed safely before passengers were evacuated for a security inspection.

Two other aircraft, operated by Aegean Airlines and Ryanair, landed at Milan's Malpensa Airport following bomb warnings.

Spanish authorities also investigated threats involving three flights at Madrid's airport. All three were declared false alarms.

The incidents followed a similar series of threats on Tuesday, when seven flights across Europe were targeted, including two bound for Warsaw from Copenhagen and London.

All the warnings proved false.

Another Wizz Air flight, traveling from London to Sofia, was diverted to Budapest on Monday after a bomb warning that was subsequently ruled out.

Authorities have not identified those responsible for the threats or established whether the incidents are connected. No explosives have been reported in the aircraft inspected so far.

Since February 2022, at least 150 hybrid attacks linked to Russia have been documented across Europe, including over 30 in Poland. These incidents primarily target nations that support Ukraine and include various forms of aggression, including arson, sabotage and bombing attempts.
