Poland to mark 1920 battle that stopped spread of Bolshevik revolution
A host of cultural, religious and military events are expected to be held in Poland this year to mark the 100th anniversary of the country’s victory over the Russian Bolsheviks in the 1920 Battle of Warsaw.

The landmark battle is believed to have saved the nation's newly regained independence after the end of World War I and prevented the Bolshevik revolution from spreading into western Europe.
