The celebrations include religious services, with churches opening their doors to the faithful for Easter Monday Masses.

For many Poles, Easter is a time of religious significance and family reunions, with elaborate meals.

One of the most popular traditions of Easter Monday in Poland is “śmigus-dyngus” or pouring water on others.

The custom, which dates back centuries, is believed to symbolize purification and the renewal of life.

It is customary for young boys to splash water on girls, although the tradition has evolved over the years, with some families opting for water fights or more playful variations.

However, the spirit of the tradition remains strong and is a cherished part of Easter Monday celebrations in Poland.
