Skywarn Poland (The Polish Storm Chasers) determined that two storm zones moved across Poland: one in the north, stretching from Płock to Elbląg, and another in the south, from Żywiec and Sucha Beskidzka to Miechów. In their opinion, a supercell storm passed north of Gliwice, moving toward Katowice and then Olkusz, bringing hail, strong wind gusts, and heavy rainfall.
