Astronauts often experience facial redness caused by bodily fluids shifting upward in microgravity, along with swelling, dizziness, and disorientation, which usually ease after a few days of rehabilitation.
Supplementation is also needed to address deficiencies in certain vitamins and nutrients after spaceflight. Their conditions are additionally monitored for potential chances in bone density and DNA caused by prolonged exposre to ionizing radiation in space.
