Polish astronaut announces nationwide tour to inspire students

Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski will visit technical universities and medical schools across the country from October to December, as part of the Poland Reaches for the Stars tour.

“I am looking forward to meeting students, pupils, and the wider public to share the story of Poland’s Ignis mission,” Uznański-Wiśniewski said during a press conference at the Warsaw University of Technology, where the post-flight tour will officially launch in mid-October.

“This will be Poland’s first space MasterClass on developing technological solutions," he added. "I am an astronaut, but also an engineer and scientist, and I want to share my knowledge and experience. I hope it will reach a wide audience and inspire the building of our future."

The tour featuring Uznański-Wiśniewski is planned in all 16 Polish provinces in collaboration with 26 universities.
