"Thank you Secretary Rubio for the continuation of our conversation from DC last week," Sikorski wrote on X.
"Today we had another good discussion – about the G20, support for Ukraine, transatlantic relations and lessons from the Polish model of political transformation," he added.
Their meeting took place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, one of the world’s largest gatherings focused on global security architecture.
This year’s event focuses on strengthening European security and defence, the future of transatlantic relations and continued support for Ukraine amid Russia’s invasion, according to the Polish foreign ministry.
Sikorski last week visited the United States, where he participated in a conference organised by the US State Department on securing critical minerals supply chains.
He held several bilateral meetings, including with Rubio, discussing topics ranging from critical minerals to Venezuela, Iran, Cuba and the war in Ukraine.
