The IBRiS poll, commissioned by the daily Rzeczpospolita and published Monday, was conducted following a referendum in Kraków in which 97.8% of voters supported recalling the city's mayor. Only 37.9% of respondents said their mayor or local administrator was performing their duties well, while 13.1% had no opinion.

Dissatisfaction was highest among opposition voters, at 65%, as well as residents of the smallest localities — those under 50,000 inhabitants — and large cities with more than 250,000 residents. Men reported greater dissatisfaction than women.

Despite their criticism, 25.4% of those unhappy with local leadership said they saw no alternative to their current mayor or administrator.
