The 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) is taking place in Kielce, where it has been held annually since 1993.
This year's partner nation is Canada, which is sending a 500-strong delegation backed by nearly 200 companies.
The exhibition will be officially opened at midday by Poland's defence ministry, along with regional and city officials.
This year's key themes include the growth of the armaments industry, dual-use technologies, artificial intelligence, unmanned systems and cooperation with the US military and NATO institutions.
More than 500 of the exhibiting companies are Polish.
Those taking part range from major arms manufacturers to firms working in IT, telecoms, energy, photonics, logistics and 3D printing, spread across a 46,000 square-metre exhibition space.
