US President sends regards to Polish head of state

US President Donal Trump has sent his best wishes to Polish head of state Andrzej Duda, after the latter tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

US President's National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien told Polish Radio on Sunday: "We stand with President Duda and President Trump sends him his warmest regards, we send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery".

On Saturday morning, Andrzej Duda's spokesperson shared on Twitter that the Polish president tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In a video posted on the social media platform later that day, President Duda assured he was feeling well and was not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
