Russia to-Germany gas pipeline could be blocked: Polish FM

European Union officials are discussing the bloc’s next steps following the arrest of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Meanwhile, some MEPs have called for the planned Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia to Germany to be halted. Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau has said the project could be blocked.

“If the project is blocked and eventually aborted, this will be triggered by the US,” Rau added.
