Russia expels Polish, German and Swedish diplomats after Navalny protests
Russia on Friday announced the expulsion of diplomats from Poland, Sweden and Germany, accusing them of taking part in illegal protests last month against the jailing of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, news agencies reported.

The move came as EU top diplomat Josep Borrell and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov were holding a press conference in Moscow on Friday, the EUobserver website cited a source as saying.
