Car of diplomat from Polish embassy in Berlin set on fire: report

A car owned by an employee of the Polish embassy in Berlin was set on fire in the German capital in the early hours of Tuesday, a website has reported.

Poland’s wpolityce.pl website cited a source from the embassy as saying: “Today, at 3am, unknown perpetrators set fire to a car with diplomatic number plates, belonging to an employee of our embassy. The car went up in flames.”

The car had been parked in the street, the source added.

According to wpolityce.pl, other cars with Polish number plates were parked nearby, but these were not set on fire.
