The get-together is set to discuss "the geopolitical situation in Europe, with a focus on threats from illegal migration," according to officials in Warsaw.

Other topics include "climate and energy policy in the context of rising energy prices," Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller told reporters.

The Visegrad Group, or V4, is a regional cooperation platform that brings together Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
