US Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Warsaw this week for talks with Polish leaders about Russia's war against Ukraine and collective efforts to support the people of Ukraine, the White House announced on Friday.
According to the Polish president's office, Duda's talks with Harris will focus on ways of strengthening defence cooperation in the face of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
While in Poland, Harris is also expected to visit American troops stationed in the country, according to the Polish president's office.
Meanwhile, Duda's talks with Trudeau are expected to explore options for Canada's assistance in accepting refugees from war-torn Ukraine, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
