The incident happened in the southwestern German spa resort of Baden-Baden, Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Facebook, Poland’s niezalezna.pl website reported.

One of the local restaurants, Rizzi, fired a Ukrainian staffer, Ihor Holod, “for his video appeal to the Russians because of the Kremlin’s war against Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote, as cited by niezalezna.pl.

Ukraine’s top diplomat added: “The management of the restaurant, oriented towards the Russian-speaking population of Baden-Baden, did not like the truth about thousands of Ukrainian civilians being dead, more than a hundred children killed, and dozens of cities destroyed as a result of Russian aggression,” niezalezna.pl reported.

Addressing Vladimir Putin’s followers in Germany and other countries, Kuleba stated: “You are just like the pilots of Russian planes, who are killing Ukrainian civilians,” as quoted by niezalezna.pl.

‘You too are responsible for Russia’s war crimes’

“By your silent consent or open support, for 27 days in a row Ukrainian children have been hiding in basements from Russian bombs. A total of 117 children have already been killed and 155 injured. Adults can’t bury their loved ones due to artillery shelling,” the Ukrainian foreign minister wrote, according to niezalezna.pl.

He added: “You too are responsible for the war crimes of the Russian army in Mariupol, Kharkiv, Sumy, Volnovakha, Kherson and other corners of Ukraine,” as cited by niezalezna.pl.

Ihor Holod, who comes from the southwestern Ukrainian port city of Odessa, has been provided with consular assistance, Kuleba said, according to the Polish website.

Wednesday is day 28 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
