Slovakia's Zuzana Čaputová hosted the event, which opened with a welcoming ceremony outside the Primate's Palace in the Slovak capital at 11 a.m. local time, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Poland's President Andrzej Duda and his regional counterparts discussed further Western support for Ukraine, and they also talked about soaring energy prices and ways to deal with the energy crisis in Europe, according to the Polish president's office.
After the meeting, the Polish president told a news conference in Bratislava that Poland "has been standing with Ukraine since the first day of Russia's invasion" and was determined to "continue helping Ukraine and its people until they win the war."
The four-nation Visegrad Group (V4) is a regional cooperation platform that brings together Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Tuesday was day 230 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
