ISIS claims responsibility for Moscow attack

ISIS-K (Islamic State) has claimed responsibility for Moscow attack as death toll rises to 70. Uncertainty remains as to the motivation for the attack.

The leader of ISIS-K has claimed responsibility on Telegram for last night's Moscow attack. 

Firefighters have got the fire under control, but the death toll looks set to increase further. Images of the attack on the Moscow City Hall concertgoers and suspects have been emerging on social media:

Considerable uncertainty remains, however, as to the identity of the perpetrators and their motives, with several sources "spinning" the fragmentary evidence according to their political narratives.
