Trump said on Sunday that the United States would take control of the mineral-rich island "one way or the other."

European leaders have warned that any use of force would undermine NATO, while officials in Denmark and Greenland have rejected the idea outright, insisting the island is not for sale and that its security must be handled within the Western military alliance.

Polish Radio reporter Jan Olendzki visited Greenland’s capital Nuuk to gauge how residents of the Arctic territory view the renewed international attention and Trump's remarks.
