Trump weighs moving troops to NATO's eastern flank: WSJ [INTERVIEW]

President Donald Trump's administration is considering withdrawing American troops from NATO countries that failed to sufficiently support the United States during the war with Iran, and repositioning them to eastern-flank allies such as Poland, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The proposal has reportedly gained traction among senior officials in recent weeks, though it remains in early stages and is just one of several options being explored to pressure NATO members.

Agnieszka Łaszczuk spoke to political analyst Karol Szulc from the University of Wrocław in southwestern Poland about how realistic such a move would be, which countries might see US troops pulled from their territory and the future of NATO.
