Writing on social media, Zelenskyy said he had discussed the planned changes with Svyrydenko, adding that Ukraine's new strategy requires a renewed government lineup. He proposed that Svyrydenko take on a new role overseeing "an important area of cooperation with a key partner", and said changes should also be expected in the leadership of law enforcement agencies.

Zelenskyy said each foreign policy priority would be assigned to an official responsible for its implementation. He listed cooperation with the United States — including agreements on Patriot missile system production — as well as deepening ties with the European Union and advancing a European missile defense project among the top priorities.

"Building new foundations" with Poland

Zelenskyy said it was necessary to "build new foundations" in relations with neighboring countries, primarily Poland and Hungary. Other priorities he named included the Middle East and Gulf states, China, and cooperation with international organizations.

He also said Ukraine would step up efforts in frontline and border regions, increase weapons supplies for the military, accelerate reforms of state-owned enterprises, intensify winter preparations, and work to more efficiently implement reconstruction agreements with partners.
