During the meeting in the Hungarian city of Komárom, top diplomats from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia plan to talk about some "key topics on the EU agenda" including "ways of ensuring optimal conditions for economic growth" and post-pandemic recovery in the region and across the European Union, according to officials.

The four foreign ministers are also expected to focus on migration and asylum issues and the situation on the EU's external borders, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia together form a four-nation regional cooperation platform known as the Visegrad Group, or V4.

All four countries are members of the EU and NATO.
