The Polish Press Agency has spoken to representatives of the "Crimean Combat Seagulls" - a pro-Ukrainian partisan group operating in Russian-occupied Crimea.

The group claims to have carried out many arson attacks on Russian military vehicles and bomb attacks on Russian military sites.

The Seagulls say they number over 1000 and they are not the only resistance group operating in Crimea. They have been recording cases of Russian human rights violations in preparation for the liberation of Crimea, contributing to the "Update on the situation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol". (See the website of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous republic of Crimea.)

Ukraine and its allies have been steadily increasing global awareness of Crimea and its non-negotiable status as an integral part of Ukraine:
