Poland reacts to France’s elections

Projected results from Sunday's second round of voting showed an alliance of left-wing parties was on course to become the largest parliamentary bloc by beating the far right and President Emmanuel Macron's coalition.

Commenting on the results, Poland's Prime Minister said that the elections made Warsaw "happy" and would lead to "disappointment" in Russia and "relief" in Ukraine.
