While the weather has slightly improved, much of the country remains under rainfall, with most roads wet and slippery.

Truck traffic is restricted on several routes, and landslides have been reported on mountainous roads.

Two catamaran services between Ubli, Dubrovnik and Split, as well as the Komiža–Biševo ferry, have been suspended due to high winds.

In Split, a popular holiday destination among Polish tourists on Croatia's central Dalmatian coast, which was hardest hit, 26 people were injured - two seriously - as the city begins clearing storm damage and assessing losses.

Officials are considering declaring a state of natural disaster in the area.
