President Volodymyr Zelensky told the New York Times that Ukrainian specialists had already traveled to the Middle East to help protect U.S. bases in Jordan.
He added that Ukrainian drones adapted to shoot down Iranian drones had also been sent.
Earlier, Zelensky said the United States and one Middle Eastern country had asked Ukraine for help defending against Iranian drones.
Over four years of war, Ukraine has developed systems for downing drones and conducting electronic warfare against them. Since autumn 2022, Russia has launched large numbers of strike drones at Ukraine, initially Iranian-made Shaheds and later Russian-modified versions.
