In an interview with Bloomberg Television on Tuesday, Nawrocki said he believed the establishment of the base was "only a question of time," although administrative and financial issues still needed to be resolved.
US President Donald Trump said last week that "major progress" was being made towards establishing a US Army base in Poland, crediting what he called the "bold leadership" of Nawrocki.
"If this happens, the location will be announced very soon," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.
"This will be a historic step for our Great U.S./Polish Alliance," he added.
"We are confident that after the declaration of President Trump this is just a question of time," Nawrocki told Bloomberg Television. "But we know that administrative issues, financial issues are still there."
Nawrocki added: "Poland is paying for its security. We are also paying for the stay of American troops in Poland. And to us, this is a very good solution because we know what we are paying for."
'This matter is for sure confirmed,' Trump 'famous for keeping his word'
He said the presence of US troops in Poland ensured stability across the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
"It's hard for me to give specific dates, but I think that this matter is for sure confirmed because President Trump is famous for keeping his word."
Speaking on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Nawrocki said he hoped Trump would be able to attend the opening of the base once the US administration and the Polish and US governments complete the necessary work.
Nawrocki said he would like the base to be completed before Trump's term ends in 2029. If the facility is established, he said, he would like it to be called "Fort Trump."
The idea of a permanent US base in Poland dubbed "Fort Trump" was first proposed publicly by former Polish President Andrzej Duda in 2018.
