The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology said it expected the country's exports to hit a growth rate of 6 percent year-on-year in the second half of 2019.
Meanwhile, imports are expected to grow by around 5 percent, the ministry said earlier this week.
It wrote in a statement accompanying the prediction: “We expect that in the next couple of months there will be a return to positive trends in Poland’s foreign trade.”
Polish exports rose 4.3 percent year-on-year in the first six months of 2019.
The country closed the first half of 2019 with a trade deficit of around EUR 200 million, down from EUR 1.9 billion a year earlier, Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported.
