The Czech Republic boasted the lowest unemployment rate in the European Union, at 2.2 percent, followed by Germany with 3.1 percent, according to the Eurostat agency.
Meanwhile, Greece had the highest jobless rate in the EU, at 16.8 percent, while Spanish unemployment was the second-highest at 14.1 percent, the agency said on Thursday.
It reported that the EU average for November was 6.3 percent, unchanged from October and down from 6.6 percent in November 2018.
According to Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), which uses a different methodology, the jobless rate stood at 5.1 percent at the end of November.
