Beginning July 15, LOT passengers will be able to fly to destinations in European countries including Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia and Latvia, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency has reported.

The carrier also plans to reinstate regular service to Britain, with flights to London available seven times a week from mid-July, the news agency said.

By the end of August, LOT expects to resume connections to almost 70 destinations.

The state-owned airline this week said it would offer a total of 130 vacation flights from Warsaw and nine regional airports beginning July 3.

Earlier this month, the carrier said it would resume flights to a number of European countries on July 1.

On June 1, Poland reopened its skies for domestic flights and LOT reinstated connections between eight cities.

Poland in mid-March temporarily closed its borders to non-residents and suspended most international flights and train services in a move to contain the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
