The figure was in line with a flash estimate released by the government-run statistics agency at the start of this month.

In July, the prices of consumer goods and services in Poland were 3 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier, according to the Central Statistical Office.

The state-run statistics agency earlier this year said it had revised its system of weights used for calculating the consumer price index in Poland in 2020.
