Polish inflation at 3.2% in September: stats office

Inflation in Poland stood at 3.2 percent in year-on-year terms in September, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Thursday in a final estimate.

The figure was in line with a flash estimate released by the state-run statistics agency at the start of this month.

In August, the prices of consumer goods and services in Poland were 2.9 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier, according to the Central Statistical Office.

The statistics agency earlier this year said it had revised its system of weights used for calculating the consumer price index in Poland in 2020.
