Despite ban, many businesses in Poland open, fearing bankruptcy
Flouting restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus, many businesses in Poland have decided to take a risk and open up shop, arguing that otherwise they face bankruptcy.

The authorities have warned that such moves will lead to the spread of the virus, result in severe fines and exclude entrepreneurs from the government’s “anti-crisis shield”, introduced to help Polish businesses maintain liquidity.
