The flights will be offered once a week from June 20, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

The head of Wrocław Airport, Dariusz Kuś, said many Poles headed to Croatia on vacation last summer by car.

“This year, due to the new air connection, Croatia may be even more tempting,” he said in a statement.

Kuś added that from July, passengers would probably also be able to fly from Wrocław Airport to Zadar, another coastal resort in Croatia, with low-cost carrier Ryanair.

Wizz Air in 2019 announced it was launching a total of 15 new routes from three Polish cities.
