The launch - announced in 2019 - is the result of a team-up between the Domestic Cloud Operator (Operator Chmury Krajowej) and Google Polska, aimed at further digitalization of the Polish economy.

In practice, it will enable Poland’s companies and public administration to access top-notch IT infrastructure services at reportedly competitive prices.

"This is a great day for cloud in Poland, because now this technology is closer to Polish companies, big and small, and is also closer to us, regular customers. Having this infrastructure here means we'll get all of that faster and in a better way," Adam Malczak, spokesman for Google Polska, told Radio Poland's Danuta Isler.
