The state-run statistics agency in October reported that the Polish economy grew 4.5 percent in 2019.

The state-run statistics agency said in late January that the Polish economy contracted by 2.8 percent in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The latest figure for 2019 is 0.7 percentage points higher than an initial estimate of 4 percent released by the office in January last year.
