Topics up for discussion at the 11th European Financial Congress hosted virtually by the northern Polish city amid the coronavirus pandemic include economic recovery post-COVID-19, digitization and investment in innovative projects.

Conference debates are also expected to focus on issues such as financial market growth, new technology, and challenges facing banking and financial institutions as the world emerges from the coronavirus crisis.

Expected guests include Poland’s Finance Minister Tadeusz Kościński and Paweł Borys, CEO of the Polish Development Fund (PFR), a state-run investment vehicle.

As in previous years, conference participants are expected to work out a set of recommendations for financial and economic policy makers.

The event runs until Wednesday.
