EUR 10.5 bn trade surplus for Poland in 2020: final data

Poland ended last year with a foreign trade surplus of EUR 10.5 billion, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported in a final estimate.

Poland’s exports totaled EUR 239.9 billion in 2020 as a whole, while imports were worth EUR 229.4 billion, the government-run statistics agency reported.

Poland’s largest export markets were Germany, the Czech Republic and Britain, while Germany, China and Italy were the country’s largest import markets.

In 2019, Poland's foreign trade showed a surplus of EUR 1.2 billion, according to the statistical office.
