Amid the war in neighbouring Ukraine, rising prices and an economic slowdown in Europe, 30 percent are neutral on the issue, while 3 percent are undecided, according to pollster CBOS.

The number of those positive about the economy increased by 2 percentage points from the previous survey in April, while the number of negative comments decreased by 2 points, the pollster said.

The percentage of respondents who said the country as a whole was headed in the right direction decreased to 27 percent from 28 percent in April, the survey also found.

Meanwhile, 57 percent, up from 56 percent in April, said things in the country were moving in the wrong direction, according to CBOS.

The poll was carried out from June 5 to 18 on a representative, random sample of 1,054 adult respondents, state news agency PAP reported.
