GUS announced the latest figures last week, public broadcaster TVP Info reported on Monday.

In the third quarter of 2023, Poland's female employment rate reached 51.5 percent, according to the statistics agency.

This marks the first time that more than half of Polish women aged 15 to 89 are in the workforce, the Business Insider website reported.

For men, the rate was 65.8 percent, and Poland's overall employment rate was 58.4 percent, GUS said.
