There were around 774,800 people without jobs across the nation at the end of November, down by 25,400 from a year earlier, according to the government.
The state-run Statistics Poland agency (GUS) reported last month that the Polish jobless rate was stable at 5 percent in October, unchanged from September.
Meanwhile, the European Union’s Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, estimated last week that unemployment in Poland was a modest 2.8 percent in October, unchanged from the previous month and the second-lowest rate in the 27-nation bloc.
