Nearly one-third of these customers are families with children, indicating a significant rise in family vacations, according to experts from the wakacje.pl portal.

The predicted increase is attributed to the favourable arrangement of days in the calendar, allowing for extended breaks with minimal leave days used.

Due to high demand, Polish tour operators have prepared larger programmes for the summer season, starting with the May weekend.

The most popular destinations are Turkey, Egypt and Greece, known for their good value for money, hotel infrastructure, tourist attractions and accessibility.

Polish customers prefer all-inclusive packages, with over 80 percent opting for this option, followed by packages with two meals included.

Prices for popular destinations have slightly decreased compared to the previous year, influenced by factors such as increased flight capacities, expanded hotel offerings, lower fuel costs, and favourable exchange rates, according to the portal.

Customers of travel agencies eagerly fly from regional airports for extended weekends. While airports in Warsaw and Katowice remain the most popular, they are followed by Poznań, Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Kraków.
