"We want to invest PLN 4.2 billion in the development of infrastructure, psychiatric care, addiction treatment for children, adolescents, and adults," Leszczyna stated at a press conference in Warsaw, as quoted by state news agency PAP.
The minister emphasized the historic nature of this investment. "Never before in the history of Poland have we allocated such money to ensure that the places where care is provided become better and of higher quality," she said.
Of the total amount, PLN 3 billion (EUR 697 million) will come from the national budget, while PLN 1.2 billion (EUR 279 million) will be sourced from the European Union.
